Like most diehard gamers I own a PS3, Xbox 360 and a Nintendo Wii. I also own a PSP. Video games haven't really interfered with anything else in my life, until recently.

My PSP has always been something I've really enjoyed but it wasn't until Metal Gear Solid came out on the PlayStation Store two weeks ago that I noticed how truly great it was. MGS is a perfect fit for the system and it made increased my affection for the PSP, to uncomfortable levels.

My gaming love went a little too far, and to spare you the same fate that happened to me, I chronicled my disastrous relationship with the PSP on DLC Digest. Because there are some pictures of a graphic nature I didn't want to post them on the more "family friendly" GPArcade, but if you want to see what happens when a man loves a handheld console a little too much click here

A trip down memory lane can be quite a treat. And today, my friends, it is. Capcom released its Classics Collection: Remixed package on PSN, featuring 20 full arcade titles -- such as Street Fight and Final Fight. And later this summer, codes to Fate/Unlimited will provide more action-packed gameplay than ever before. The list of 20 games is here.

On the 360, the Quake Arena Arcade -- through Twitter -- will release new levels and gameplay for up to 16 people to battle. The 40 maps from Team and Team Arena will be in tact, too. More to come in August on this one as well.

The Foreigner pack contains "Headknocker", "Feels Like the First Time" and "Blue Morning, Blue Day". The second Warped Tour pack consists of songs from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Dear and the Headlights, The Devil Wears Prada and Thrice.

As for Wii gamers, they get 16 previously released tracks. Hit the jump for all the details on this week's Rock Band releases.

Today THQ announed that Red Faction: Guerilla (the sweet, sweet love child of Total Recall and Mercenaries) will get its first batch of downloadable content on August 13th. Available for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners, the first of three new packs of DLC, Demons of the Badlands, will sell for 800MS Points ($10) and features a single player story arc that takes place outside of the existing Red Faction: Guerilla universe.

Damn, I'm only 1/4 of the way through the game. Looks like I need to wrap up my single player campaign.

Every year my brother buys the brand new edition of Madden, and every year after about 4 weeks he's not playing it anymore. He gets excited about football in August and lets that energy talk him into purchasing a game that's too much for a casual player. What he really needs is a bite sized version of Madden, not the full 7-course meal a hardcore guy like myself wants.

EA has had success with mini-versions of sports titles. Earlier this year they released "NCAA March Madness" before the big tournament and right before that "3 on 3 NHL Arcade" was available for download.

Sports are America's passion. Doesn't it make sense for gaming companies to capitalize on that with smaller iterations of its popular sports, or even an arcade version of more obscure sports to see if there's fan interest (see rugby and arena football) for full blown titles? Hardcore sports fans would probably buy both the arcade game and the disc game, and casual fans could get the portion size they're looking for.

He's a symbol for manhood for both boys and adults -- G.I. Joe, America's hero. And for PS3's "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," unlockable features will be added into the mix in August for all loyal fans, including information on the game's production, concept art and character renderings, four 80's public service announcements and 75 file cards scattered on maps containing profiles of random members of the team. If you're a fan, you've got to get in on this.

It all comes at you in August for the 360, PS2 and PS3, Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP and mobile applications for loads of different phones.

The jump has got EA's complete advance.

The Games We Play is a weekly feature about what has been going on in our gaming lives. Tell us what you've been playing in the comments.

Terry: I've been so busy with reviews the past week (Sam&Max, Point Lookout) that I haven't had much time to play games for myself. When I have managed to squeeze in some "me" game time, I've been playing Red Faction Guerilla. Its a solid game. It plays a lot like the love child of the movie Total Recall and the game Mercenaries, two things I really like.

All the game needs is a chick with 3 boobs and it would be perfect. I'm only half way through the game so I could still get lucky.

Ian: Most of my time this week has (unfortunately) been on the phone with AT&T. I am trying to get an iPhone but there are more problems porting my number over than you can think of. Once I get the phone I am hoping to report back on the improved speed and graphics compared to my 1st gen iPod Touch.

On consoles, I dug a little more into inFamous but we've been beating that one to death the last couple of weeks. The Bigs 2 demo was really fun but felt extremely similar to the first. While not a bad thing, I thought the developers would have taken more chances considering they had two years to think about it.

Sean: With the U.S. Open ending early in the week (Phil! So close, again!), I was given plenty of motivation to continue to play Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2010, because there are an unbelievable amount of hidden gems in the game. But in order to be fresh to this week, I must make reference to Rocket Riot. It's completely worth your time for the 360. I am not just saying that because I reviewed it either -- trust me. For a guy who normally is quite nitpicky about downloadable games, this one rocks and is worth your 800 MS points.

One of the most fun, time-consuming things you can do to pass the time is download (for free) and play 1 vs. 100 (or 1 vs. 26,569 if you want to get technical). With the chance to party up and play directly next to and against your friends, this one is a steal for free, even as a Beta version. Know random trivia? Hop on here and test your knowledge against tens of thousands of other Xbox Livers -- they're waiting to prove you wrong. So much fun going against the Mob.

When games are in their early production stages, we as avid gamers wait patiently like starving dogs hoping a crouton rolls off the table and onto the floor. Instead of croutons, we have visually-stimulated images and previews to keep us on our toes. The announcement of a "Hustle Kings" release date set for the winter will be keeping us toasty warm in front of our PS3.

Producer Aaron Orsak claims the game has that "something" billiards games always seem to be missing. If he's correct, playing pool may never be the same. The screenshots will blow you away and you haven't even had a chance to pick up a controller for the thing yet. The secret may be found in proper ball control and an overal handle on the matchups in the game.

For now, we wait. Check out the jump for the article.

Phish finishes off the monthly slab of downloadable content for Guitar Hero, featuring three songs from different periods of their career, "Sample in a Jar," "Down with Disease" and "Chalk Dust Torture."

Music improvisation is the name of the game for this four-some -- combining what seems to be dozens of genres into one sound. That sound is simply called, "Phish." Although the band broke up in 2004, the reunion shows in Virginia this year brought their popularity back up, as they travel across the country touring today. Phish is back, baby.
