If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times, I'm a huge fan of Xbox Live Community Games (formerly XNA). Its like the local indie movie theater, you know the one. Its the place you'd go to see duds like Silver City or awesome flicks like Slumdog Millionaire. Sure the movies are hit and miss, the seats are rickety, and the concessions aren't quite of the same quality as a chain, but its a good place to find something different than the run of the mill blockbuster.

But, and this is a huge butt, Xbox Live Community Games barely get any love. For months I've argued that in order to get more recognition these games should offer up Achievement Points, they're one of the things that make the Xbox 360 unique and they're addictive as hell. I play plenty of XLCG (XNA rolls of the tongue sooo much better) but I'd play even more if I could cheaply raise my Gamerscore.

But what about you? Would you buy more of these indie games if they had Achievements? Why? Why not? Let your voice be heard by answering our question of the week. Have a question you'd like to have asked? Email it to me at tterrones@gamepro.com.

Achievements are always better, due to you have a goal to reach to unlock the trophy so it is more interesting. Achievement and trophies are what makes you sweat through the game restarting on a simple mistake to get your accomplishment.
