Pixel Junk Shooter (PSN) – Pixel Junk’s next game is one of the most highly anticipated downloadable titles from the PlayStation Store. Featuring beautiful artwork in full 1080p HD glory, wonderful local co-op multiplayer, and unique water and lava mechanics, this a must have. Besides playing through the first few levels we were also treated to a teaser showing off a boss battle that is just as much intense as it is fun. Keep this on your radar when it ships out this fall.

Fat Princess (PSN) – This PSN title sports a huge multiplayer feature where gamers return their princess back to her throne while keeping their enemy’s princess captured in the dungeon by feeding her face with cake. To do this you choose one of the five classes Worker, warrior, archer, priest and mage which each have their own upgrades and unique attacks that eliminate opponents in fountains of blood and meat. Wonderful visuals and unique action/strategy gameplay will be in your hands sometime this summer.

Gravity Crash (PSN) – Gravity Crash uses inertia to move your ship around a world that has tons of gravity to it, making you run and gun as fast as you can. With 30 levels to explore this is another title to look forward to later this year.

Trash Panic (PSN) – Puzzle games are all the rage right now and Sony is not shy about promoting their new title for the PSN. Trash Panic isn’t your normal Tetris-style game. It’s actually an eco friendly title where your goal is to compress tons of trash. But you don’t have to do so, you are allowed to burn items but it counts against your overall eco rating. Featuring 6 different levels to play through, starting with a simple office trash can working your way up to something big enough to hold satellites and other giant sized objects. This one you don’t have to wait for since it released during E3, so go check it out.

Cave Story (WiiWare) – Featuring a story written by acclaimed independent designer Daisuke Amaya, Cave story delves into a world inhabited by a race of cute cuddly rabbit-like creatures called Mimigas who live on a serene island where they run free. Their quiet life is soon changed in the blink of an eye. The only hope for the Mimigas is a very forgetful young boy who can’t even remember his own name. Featuring wonderful worlds to explore and some fun and intuitive gameplay, Cave Story is surely going to give WiiWare what it finally deserves, a good game.

Bit.Trip Core (WiiWare) –  Bit.Trip Beat was a big hit with its unique paddle style game play and cool 8-bit visuals. This time gamers control a plus sign smack dab in the middle of the screen and you'll fire a beam of light at tiny blocks and other objects as they pass you by. Gamers hold a direction on the directional pad of the Wii Remote to highlight either up, down, right, or left, and then hit the 2 button to fire. Motion control was taken out of this title so you won’t be flailing your arms about to get at the cubes. The sweet 8-bit tones you have grown to love from the previous title return, making it another must play game for the Wii.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (WiiWare) – Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is an episodic game that is a true sequel to the SNES title. Featuring both a single and multiplayer mode with classic 2D design, players can now grab up to three friends and explore the world. Gamers will need to unravel a mystery told through the intertwining stories of a familiar cast of characters and complete the FFIV experience on this latest installment to the franchise. Available now on WiiWare for the low $8 price point.
