Space Invaders Extreme came out on XBLA today and, coincidentally enough, we're giving you a chance to win one of three (3!) download codes for it. Not only will three people get the game for free, but one of those lucky winners will get a Limited Edition SIE print hand-signed by the creator of the original Space Invaders, Tomohiro Nishikado (see pic above).

How do you lucky dogs win one of our best prizes ever? Easy, just put up a comment on this post writing as many words as you can think of using the letters in the words "Space Invaders" (cave, nice, etc.). Words have to be a minimum of 4 letters long, pronouns are not allowed. And don't get cute and try foreign words either, I'll be using a dictionary to check your entries.  

Post as many times as you like, but only one entry per contestant will count. Three lucky winners will be randomly selected by the GPArcade super computer, the WOPR, and announced Sunday. Of the three winners, one will again be randomly chosen (the WOPR is getting a workout this week) as the winner of the Space Invaders Extreme Limited Edition Print. Good luck!

Hate to burst your bubble but anyone could just use an anagram solver and just so you know you could make a total of 1,659 words from using the words in Space Invaders(minus a hundred or so because of words with less than 4 letters) but here are some anyway.

i do think it would be impressive if someone could make an interesting sentence or paragraph only using words that are anagrams to space invaders.

Not a bad idea on the sentence. And yes, I figured there was some website that would let people take the easy way out, I'm just hoping people are honest and do it themselves. Its not like it increases your chances of winning by having more words than anyone else.

I hope that bubble bursting reply was not to me. I created those words without using a word generator. It is not hard to create words and many times you can use a S to make a word longer like device and devices.

Anyone in UK will know the game show Countdown and if you have been a lazy student (or an OAP) you will have no doubt watched this game and played along many times :) It is the same method used to create words as this competition.

If I wanted to cheat, although there is no need to as its just judged on someone posting any words, I would have posted "cadaverines" which I just got from a site.
