If you're looking for something to get a few friends together or to simply entertain the family, then Jungle Speed is right up your alley. Jungle Speed is a lightning-fast card game plain and simple. Think of UNO, but you also have to keep an eye on how the players are reacting, not just how many cards they have.
A keen eye and tremendous speed are a must in order to achieve victory in this title. Play starts when the first person flips a card. Moving around the table, symbols are revealed until two of the exposed cards match. Players with matching cards must then make a mad dash for the totem in the middle of the table; the loser gets the winner's cards and anything in the pot. Be the first person to rid yourself of all your cards and win the game. Not to mention that winning comes easy when the controls are good. With a simple layout you will be card totem swiping with ease.
Visually, the game doesn't have much to it, but then again it doesn't really have to have much. It features a cast of animal characters as your avatars and a jungle setting as your backdrop. I know it doesn't sound to enthralling but it's the meat and potatoes of the game that is the selling point. Same goes for the music, nothing amazing but it will entertain during the game play. But as stated previously, the visuals and sound are not the reason to pick this up, it is the core that keeps you coming back.

The only downfall to this title would be playing alone. It just isn't a fun playing by yourself. You need to get some people in the room to really bring out the true potential of the game. Nothing says awesome like screaming "Take that!" at all your friends as you totally own them.
In the end Jungle Speed is a great title for the price. It offers a ton for the family and can make for a good drinking game as well if you tweak it right. Having something to get the family and friends together is what the WII is all about and this is another great addition to the library. So get everyone together and play some Jungle Speed I do not think you will regret it!
