Activision has released a statement showing that they will feature the great Jimi Hendrix in the next installment of the Guitar Hero franchise. Not only will you be able to play two of Hendrix's most common songs "Purple Haze (Live)" recorded in 1969 at the San Diego Sports Arena and "The Wind Cries Mary." You will also get additional exclusive songs from the legendary artist will follow as downloadable content. But that is not all, Jimi will also be a playable character in the game.
